Liverpool Prince Of Wales Theatre – Kitty – 1898
A Victorian programme from the Prince Of Wales, Liverpool, dated 2 May 1898, for Kitty, with J Brighten, J Dallas, Lindsay Grey and Stella St Audrie.
In the 1890s Liverpool was one of the great theatre towns of Britain, with a busy circuit of playhouses welcoming touring companies fresh from London successes.
Provincial programmes of this age are survivors of fragile paper ephemera, and this is a fine example among old theatre programmes of the Victorian era.
