Liverpool Grand Opera House – Robin Hood – 1895
A Victorian programme from the Grand Opera House, Liverpool, dated 12 August 1895, for Robin Hood, with a cast including Rosie George, Nannie Meade, Stephen Adeson and George Regan.
The outlaw of Sherwood Forest was a favourite subject for the late Victorian stage, inspiring comic operas, burlesques and pantomimes alike.
