London New Theatre – The Poltergeist – 1947
An original theatre programme for The Poltergeist at the New Theatre, London, from 1947. The cast includes Olga Lindo, Olive Kirby, Anne West, Lloyd Pearson, Peter Neil and Frank Strickland in this post-war comedy of supernatural goings-on.
Programmes from the late 1940s West End are an evocative record of theatre in austerity Britain, and this is a pleasing example of old theatre programmes.
