Plymouth Orchestral Society Concert Programme 1930
An original concert programme for the Plymouth Orchestral Society at the Plymouth Guild Hall, dated 26 November 1930.
Local orchestral societies were the backbone of musical life in provincial Britain, bringing symphonic and choral repertoire to audiences long before regular broadcast and recorded classical music became widespread.
A scarce survival from the old Guild Hall and an interesting item for collectors of old theatre programmes and concert history.
