An original programme for Triumphant Heroines of Shakespeare given by Ellen Terry at the Kursaal, Harrogate, on 7 September 1912.
In her later career Terry toured lecture-recitals on Shakespeare’s women, illustrating characters such as Portia and Beatrice with scenes she had famously played opposite Henry Irving.
A rare chance to own a programme from one of the great actresses, and a lovely piece of theatre memorabilia among old theatre programmes.
