About this Kismet theatre programme
An original theatre programme for Kismet at the Garrick Theatre, London, dated 8 July 1911, with Oscar Asche and Lily Brayton. Edward Knoblock’s colourful Arabian Nights drama follows a day in the life of the beggar Hajj in old Baghdad, and Asche’s lavish production was one of the great spectacles of the Edwardian stage. A programme from the original London production, and a superb piece of theatre memorabilia for collectors of old theatre programmes.
