Date 17/09/1917
An original theatre programme from the Prince’s Theatre, Bradford, dated 17 September 1917, featuring Florence Baines.
Produced in the middle of the First World War, it reflects a time when theatres stayed open to give hard-pressed audiences and soldiers on leave a welcome escape.
Wartime programmes from the provinces are increasingly hard to find, making this Bradford example an appealing piece for collectors of old theatre programmes and Yorkshire history.
