Georges Ohnet’s drama of a proud aristocratic woman who marries a wealthy ironmaster was one of the great French successes of the 1880s, and Hading was closely associated with its heroine.
A rare record of a visiting French star and an interesting example of old theatre programmes from the Edwardian era.
