London Prince Of Wales Theatre – Promises Promises – 1970
A theatre programme for Promises Promises at the Prince Of Wales, London, in 1970, with Bob Sherman, Paul Maxwell, Betty Buckley and Elizabeth Whiting.
The musical has music by Burt Bacharach, lyrics by Hal David and a book by Neil Simon, based on Billy Wilder’s 1960 film The Apartment.
A stylish slice of swinging-era Broadway in London, this is a great example of old theatre programmes from 1970.
