Date 1971
An original programme from the Royal Court Theatre, London, 1971, for Bertolt Brecht’s Man Is Man, with Bob Hoskins, Susan Williamson, Georgia Brown and Dennis Bowden.
Brecht’s early comedy follows a harmless porter, Galy Gay, who is gradually dismantled and reassembled into a soldier by a gang of British army privates in colonial India.
An early stage credit for Bob Hoskins makes this a rewarding 1970s theatre programme for collectors.
