Cambridge Theatre – Chicago – 1979 – Richard Fox
An original programme for Kander and Ebb’s Chicago at the Cambridge Theatre, London, dated 10 April 1979.
The musical vaudeville follows Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, two murderesses who turn their trials into a route to fame in 1920s Chicago. The cast includes Richard Fox, Jenny Logan, Don Fellows, Ellie Smith, Rachel Izen and Mark Jefferis.
From the first London production of the show, long before its record-breaking 1990s revival, this is a great theatre programme for musical theatre collectors.
