Sheffield Press Ball – Les Dawson Autograph 1960s
An original programme for the Sheffield Press Ball from the 1960s, signed on the inside by Les Dawson, with the Dee-Lights also appearing.
Dawson was a regular on the northern club and cabaret circuit in the 1960s before television made him one of Britain’s best-loved comedians, famed for his deadpan delivery, mother-in-law jokes and deliberately off-key piano playing.
An early-career autograph like this is a lovely piece of signed memorabilia for any Les Dawson fan.
