Scarborough Black & White Minstrel Show 1960 – Autographs + Extr
A 1960 theatre programme for The Black & White Minstrel Show at the Futurist Theatre, Scarborough, together with a genuine signed autograph book sheet and an original 45 record in its sleeve.
The show was one of the most popular variety entertainments of its day, though its use of blackface make-up is now rightly regarded as offensive; it is offered here purely as a historical record.
A revealing document of seaside entertainment history and theatre memorabilia from 1960s Scarborough.
