London Scala Theatre – Cyrano De Bergerac – 1962
A programme from the Scala Theatre, London, dated 19 July 1962, for Cyrano De Bergerac, a Rose Bruford College Speech & Drama performance with Christopher Harris, Carol Mason, David Lloyd, Keith Hill, Janet Price and Colin White, together with the used theatre ticket.
Edmond Rostand’s 1897 verse play tells of the brilliant, long-nosed swordsman-poet who woos Roxane on behalf of another. A fascinating record of drama training in the 1960s and a lovely piece of theatre memorabilia.
