Eastbourne Devonshire Park Theatre – The Visit – 1965
An original theatre programme for The Visit at the Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne, dated 18 October 1965. The cast includes Jean Raynor, Derek Bunker, Angela Fuggle, Lesley Sterry and Winnie Woodward.
Friedrich Durrenmatt’s dark tragicomedy tells of a fabulously rich woman who returns to her impoverished home town offering a fortune in exchange for the death of the man who wronged her.
A fine regional production of a modern classic, and a good addition to any collection of old theatre programmes.
