Reading Pendragon Theatre – Rebecca – 1951
An original theatre programme for Rebecca at the Pendragon Theatre, Reading, dated 21 May 1951. The cast includes Mary Yeomans, Charles Heslop, Gwyn Jenkins, Michael Gregson, Graham Adkins and Jean Kent.
Daphne du Maurier adapted her own bestselling novel for the stage, bringing the second Mrs de Winter, Maxim and the sinister Mrs Danvers to life at Manderley.
With British film star Jean Kent in the cast, this is an appealing piece of post-war theatre memorabilia and a nice repertory theatre programme.
