London Strand Theatre – Will Any Gentleman – 1950

An original theatre programme for Will Any Gentleman at the Strand Theatre, London, dated 6 September 1950.

Vernon Sylvaine’s farce tells of a mild-mannered bank clerk who is hypnotised on stage and becomes a very different man, and the cast includes Patricia Dare, Norman Scace, Thelma Grigg, Natalie Raine, Arthur Riscoe and Gerard Clifton.

The Strand was a home of British farce for decades, and this programme is a fun piece of post-war theatre memorabilia for collectors of theatre programmes.
