London Saville Theatre – Love From Judy – 1952 – June Whitfield
An original programme from the Saville Theatre, London, dated 25 September 1952, for the musical Love From Judy, with Jean Carson, Barbara Deeks, Linda Bacon and David Karry, and featuring a young June Whitfield.
The show was a musical version of Jean Webster’s much-loved novel Daddy-Long-Legs, about an orphan girl sent to college by an anonymous benefactor.
An early West End credit for a future comedy legend makes this a charming 1950s theatre programme for collectors.
