London Regent Theatre – Fanfare For Figleaves – 1952
An original theatre programme for Fanfare for Figleaves at the Regent Theatre, London, dated 10 March 1952. The cast includes Cyril Byrne, Van Dusen, Don Raymond and Harry Pringle.
Shows of this type were the lively, slightly saucy revues that toured and played London in the years after the war.
Revue and variety programmes are a colourful and often overlooked part of old theatre programmes, preserving names and acts that rarely appear elsewhere.
