East Hove Junior School – Cinderellen – 1953
An original programme for Cinderellen, staged at East Hove Junior School, Sussex, on 18 December 1953. The young cast includes Lorraine West, Peter Wilson, Jean Smith and John Carter.
A playful take on the Cinderella story, it was performed just before Christmas, the traditional season for Cinderella pantomimes across Britain.
School programmes like this rarely survive, making it a charming piece of local theatre memorabilia for anyone with a connection to Hove or the cast.
