Bristol Theatre Royal – Look Back In Anger – 1956 Peter O'Toole
An original theatre programme for Look Back In Anger at the Theatre Royal, Bristol, in 1956. The cast includes Peter O’Toole, Barry Wilsher, Wendy Williams, Phyllida Law and Joseph O’Conor.
John Osborne’s explosive play, with its furious anti-hero Jimmy Porter raging in a cramped Midlands flat, was staged in Bristol in the very year it shook up British theatre.
An early Peter O’Toole appearance in a landmark play makes this a superb item among old theatre programmes.
