Bournemouth Palace Court Theatre – It's A Boy – 1955
An original theatre programme for It’s A Boy at the Palace Court Theatre, Bournemouth, dated 8 August 1955. The cast includes Sonya Phelps, Gwyneth Owen, Anthony Dawes, John Allen, Hilary Mason and Nigel Green.
Austin Melford’s farce, adapted from a German original, was a reliable crowd-pleaser for repertory and summer season companies. With a future film actor in the cast, this is a nice example of 1950s seaside theatre programmes.
