London Theatre Royal – Decameron Nights – 1940s
A programme from the Theatre Royal, London, for Decameron Nights, with Arthur Lewis, Frank Haylett, Horace Corbyn and Warren David.
The production turned Giovanni Boccaccio’s celebrated tales of love and wit into colourful stage spectacle, full of costume, music and romance.
A pleasing period example, this is a nice addition to a collection of old theatre programmes and London theatre history.
