London Savoy Theatre – Life With Father – 1947
An original theatre programme for Life With Father at the Savoy Theatre, London, dated 5 June 1947, with Joy O’Neill, Douglas Jefferies, Rowland Bartrop, Ann Titheradge, James Mills and Aubrey Denning.
Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse’s warm family comedy is based on Clarence Day’s memoirs of his strong-willed father in 1880s New York. A charming example of post-war old theatre programmes from the West End.
