An original programme for Paddy The Next Best Thing at the Opera House, Manchester, for the week of 7 November 1921. The cast includes Frank Adair, William Morgan, June Meradith and Una O’Connor.
The comedy, adapted from Gertrude Page’s novel, had been a big London success and toured widely afterwards.
With a future Hollywood character actress in the cast, this is a lovely piece among old theatre programmes from the early 1920s.
