About this The Sport Of Kings theatre programme
An original theatre programme for The Sport Of Kings at the Savoy Theatre, London, from 1928, with Basil Foster, Frank Denton, Gladys Hamilton, Robin Irvine, Hilda Scarlett and Ena Grosssmith. Ian Hay’s comedy pokes fun at a strait-laced, anti-gambling gentleman who finds himself drawn into the world of horse racing. A lively example of 1920s old theatre programmes from the Savoy.
