London Palladium – Sky High – 1925
An original programme from The London Palladium, 1925, for the revue Sky High, with Claude Gardner, Gordon Keith, Mark Sone and the great comedian George Robey.
Robey was the biggest star of British music hall and revue, famous for his bushy painted eyebrows, clerical-style costume and his indignant cry of “Desist!” to a laughing audience.
A relic of the Palladium in the roaring twenties, this is an appealing piece among old theatre programmes.
