Sheffield Albert Hall – Cinderella Concert – 1913

An original concert programme for the Cinderella Concert held at the Albert Hall, Sheffield on 24 November 1913, with principal performers Madame E Aston and Mable Corran.

The Albert Hall stood on Barker’s Pool and was for decades the city’s main venue for concerts, recitals and public meetings.

Programmes from Edwardian and pre-war Sheffield concerts survive in small numbers, making this a lovely piece of local musical history and a natural fit for collectors of old theatre programmes and Yorkshire ephemera.
