Basil Dean – controller of the theatre. General Notes – “The Liverpool Repertory Theatre is the property of upwards of twelve hundred Liverpool citizens. It is the first English Repertory Theatre to have been founded by these public means.”
Basil Dean, better known for his work in films, ran the theatre for two years between 1911 and 1913.
