London Scala Theatre – Mrs Grundy – 1905
An original theatre programme for Mrs Grundy at the Scala Theatre, London, dated 15 November 1905. The cast includes James Hearn, Clement Kent, Clayton Green and Gertrude Elliott.
The Scala had only just opened in 1905, making this a programme from the theatre’s very first year, with American-born star Gertrude Elliott in the cast.
An interesting Edwardian bill and a desirable example of old theatre programmes from a much-missed London theatre.
