Liverpool Empire Palace Theatre – Variety Show – 1904

An Edwardian programme from the Empire Palace Theatre, dated 9 May 1904, for a variety bill featuring Nina Martino, Cinquevalli, Alexandra & Hughes and Katie Butler.

Variety palaces of this era presented a parade of singers, comedians, acrobats and speciality acts, and the juggler Paul Cinquevalli was one of the biggest names on any bill.

A colourful record of Edwardian music hall, this is an appealing piece among old theatre programmes.
