Bristol Theatre Royal – Goody Two Shoes – 1905 – David O'Toole
An original programme for the pantomime Goody Two Shoes at the Theatre Royal, Bristol, for the 1905-1906 season. The cast includes May Fallowfield, Harriet Fawn, David O’Toole and Florence Melville.
The pantomime was based on the classic children’s tale of a poor orphan girl so delighted to receive a pair of shoes that she shows everyone her “two shoes”.
Edwardian provincial pantomime programmes are a charming and increasingly scarce area of old theatre programmes.
