London Vaudeville Theatre – In Danger – 1889
An original theatre programme for In Danger at the Vaudeville Theatre, London, dated 29 July 1889, with principal cast including Lewis Waller and Florence West.
Waller was on the brink of becoming one of the great romantic matinee idols of the late Victorian and Edwardian stage.
An early programme for a celebrated actor-manager, appearing alongside his wife, this is a lovely piece for collectors of old theatre programmes and Strand theatre history.
