London Strand Theatre – Keep Your Temper + Family Ties – 1878
An original programme from The Strand Theatre, London, dated 26 January 1878, for a double bill of Keep Your Temper and Family Ties. The cast included Colouston Foster, Miss La Feuillade, H Turner, Maria De Grey, Mr Carter and Mr J Grahame.
In the 1870s the Strand was well known for comedy, farce and burlesque, and a full evening typically combined several pieces.
Programmes from the 1870s are increasingly scarce, making this a desirable example of early old theatre programmes.
