London Royal Lyceum Theatre – Journeys End in Lovers – 1895
An original theatre programme from the Royal Lyceum Theatre, London, dated 17 July 1895, for a double bill of Journeys End In Lovers Meeting and The Corsican Brothers, with Henry Irving and Ellen Terry.
The short comedy gave Terry a charming role, while Irving played the twin brothers in Dion Boucicault’s celebrated ghostly melodrama.
With both of the Lyceum’s great stars on the bill, this is a highly desirable piece among Victorian old theatre programmes.
