An original theatre programme for The Moonlight Blossom at the Prince Of Wales Theatre, London, dated 9 October 1899, presented in a fancy wrapping cover.
The play, set in Japan, was led by Mr J Forbes Robertson, with Frank Mills, William Pilling, Beatrice Milani and Rosina Filippi.
Decorative programme wallets were a late-Victorian luxury, and with one of the finest actors of his generation in the lead, this is a handsome piece of theatre memorabilia and a lovely example of old theatre programmes.
