London Globe Theatre – La Belle Normande – 1881
A Victorian theatre programme for La Belle Normande at the Globe Theatre, London, dated 5 February 1881. The cast includes Harry Paulton, Furneaux Cook, Kate Munroe, Kate Lee, Chas Ashford and Clara Graham.
In the early 1880s, French-style comic opera was hugely fashionable on the London stage, and the Globe was one of its main homes. A scarce example of Victorian old theatre programmes from a theatre that vanished long ago.
