London Garrick Theatre – Diplomacy – 1893

A Victorian theatre programme for Diplomacy at the Garrick Theatre, London, in 1893. The cast includes Mr Bancroft, Arthur Cecil, Gilbert Hare, Olga Nethersole, Helen Luck and Lady Monckton.

This English version of Victorien Sardou’s Dora is a gripping drama of espionage and suspicion among diplomats and aristocrats.

An excellent example of late Victorian drama, this programme is a fine addition to any collection of old theatre programmes.
