London Gaiety Theatre – Don Juan – 1894
A Victorian programme from the Gaiety Theatre, London, dated 25 April 1894, for the second edition of Don Juan, with Arthur Roberts, Robert Pateman, Millie Langton and Kate Cannon.
The Gaiety was London’s home of burlesque, and its shows were regularly refreshed with “new editions” of songs and jokes to keep audiences returning.
Starring one of the great comedians of the age, this is a delightful piece among old theatre programmes of the 1890s.
