London Dukes Theatre – Mammon – 1878 – Holborn
An original Victorian theatre programme for Mammon at the Dukes Theatre, London, in 1878. The cast features Mr W H Vernon, Mr J D Beveridge, Walter Everard, Florence Chalgrove, Maud Taylor and Louise Moodie.
Programmes from smaller Victorian London houses survive in far fewer numbers than those of the major theatres, making them especially interesting to researchers and collectors.
A fascinating example of old theatre programmes from the late 1870s and a characterful piece of theatre memorabilia.
