      Very interested in last 20 years of 19th century . Period stylistically close to perfection. Edinburgh had a whole community and section of area wiped in subsequent decades around this theatre and never has it recovered a single jot or done anything to amend what happened .The area in question had two theatres of the same name at different times and slightly different locations . also they produced a different product, in that the earlier Theatre Royal served a serious , longstanding production , the latter Theatre Royal was more on the immediate , popular code .
