Paignton Adelphi Theatre British Dance Theatre – Flyer Leaflet 1950

A single sheet flyer leaflet, 6 x 8.5 inches, for British Dance Theatre at the Paignton Adelphi Theatre, dated 19 May 1950.

It promises “dance in the modern idiom” with Sally Archbutt, Ronnie Curran and Warren Lamb, and urges audiences not to miss the theatre cinema organist either.

Modern dance was still a novelty for many British audiences in 1950, making this an interesting piece of theatre memorabilia from the early days of the form in this country.
