Nottingham Empire Theatre – Showtime – 1934
An original variety programme for Showtime at the Empire Theatre, Nottingham, dated 10 September 1934.
The bill features The Van Strattans, Bert Weston, The Three Bonos, Claude Lester, Olvido Perez and Henri Hilton, a typical mix of speciality acts, comedians and performers from the heyday of British variety.
Programmes from the Nottingham Empire are increasingly scarce, making this a lovely example of old theatre programmes from the inter-war variety circuit.
