About this Rockets theatre programme
A programme from The London Palladium for the revue Rockets, presented in the 1920s and featuring names including Charles Gulliver, Lorna Pounds, Toots Pounds and Charles Henry. Charles Gulliver was a leading impresario of the period who ran the Palladium, and the theatre was then a home of lavish revue packed with comedy, song and dance. Programmes from the Palladium’s early decades are scarce, and this is a charming example among old theatre programmes of the jazz age.
