Royal Shakespeare Theatre – Romeo & Juliet 1973 – Timothy Dalton
An original 1973 theatre programme for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Romeo & Juliet, with Timothy Dalton, Peter Machin, Beatrix Lehmann, Brian Glover, Brenda Bruce and Nickolas Grace.
Dalton, who played Romeo, went on to become the fourth actor to play James Bond, in The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence to Kill (1989). An RSC programme with a future 007 is a great find for collectors of Shakespeare theatre programmes.
