London Novelty Theatre – Nita's First – 1884

An original programme from the Novelty Theatre, London, dated 12 February 1884, for Nita’s First together with The Scalded Back.

The company included Fanny Robertson, Lesley Bell, Alma Stanley, Susie Vaughan, Harry Nichols and Lottie Venne. The Novelty was a new and rather short-lived playhouse at the time, specialising in comedy, farce and light entertainment.

Programmes from minor London theatres of the 1880s are rarely seen, making this a desirable example of old theatre programmes.
