Perth Theatre Festival Scotland The Golden Legend Of Shults 1939
A programme from the Perth Theatre Festival in Scotland, 1939, for The Golden Legend Of Shults by the Scottish dramatist James Bridie.
The cast included James Gibson, David Steuart, Dickson Gilmour, Archie Vallings, Nan Scott and Philipa Grayling, members of the Perth repertory company.
Bridie was the leading Scottish playwright of his generation and a key figure in the growth of Scottish theatre. Pre-war Scottish repertory material is scarce, making this an interesting piece of old theatre programmes history.
