Bristol Theatre Royal – The Ladys Not For Burning – 1950's
A further original theatre programme for The Lady’s Not For Burning at the Theatre Royal, Bristol, believed to be from the 1950s. The cast includes Hugh Manning, Edward Burnham, Donald Pleasence, Donald Sinden, Gudrun Ure and Pamela Alan.
Christopher Fry’s witty verse drama was one of the defining plays of the post-war British stage. With Pleasence and Sinden both early in their careers, this is a rewarding piece of theatre memorabilia from the Bristol Old Vic.
