London Saville Theatre – Here Come The Boys – 1946

An original theatre programme for Here Come The Boys at the Saville Theatre, London, in 1946.

The principal cast was led by two of the great light entertainers of British musical comedy, Bobby Howes and Jack Hulbert, with Natasha Sokolova, Elsa Tee, Ruthene Leclerc and Denis Graham.

Staged in the year after the Second World War ended, it captures West End entertainment as London theatre returned to normal.

Programmes from the immediate post-war years are popular with collectors of old theatre programmes and British stage history.
