London Royal College Of Music – Chamber Concert – 1956
An original single-sheet programme for a concert at the Royal College Of Music, London, on 22 May 1956, given by The Second Orchestra, one of the College’s student ensembles.
Concerts like this were part of the training of young professional musicians, many of whom went on to play in Britain’s leading orchestras.
A modest but scarce survival, this is a nice piece of concert memorabilia for anyone interested in British musical education.
